Advantages: Mad my horrible feet feel soft again
Disadvantages: Nothing
I have seen these in shops like Superdrug, Woolworths, Boots etc for a while but I always thought they were a bit expensive. Especially if they didn't work which is always a concern when your spending money.
Then one day I was walking around the local market on my dinner break and I noticed someone selling them for £3.50. I thought I would have a walk round and get one on my way back. Further round the market there was someone selling them for £2.50 so I bought one straight away.
I have always suffered with really dry skin on my feet, it has always been very thick and hard (sorry if anyone reading this is squeemish).
When I got home I went straight in the shower as your feet need to be clean to use this.
When I first opened the package I had to read the instructions as I was rather confused as to how to put it together. Although after I had done it I realised how easy it was.
You just clip the grater over the top of the seperate compartment which is for catching the shavings and away you go. You need to file your feet the same way as you would grate a block of cheese. In up and down movements. After a few strokes I could not resist looking inside to see how much there was and I was very shocked. At that time it did not look as if much of the skin had come off my feet. I continued to file away for about 10 minutes on each foot, by this time I could feel a big difference. My feet felt and looked better than they had done in years. I was very impressed with the end results.
When I had finished I just emptied the shavings into the bin and rinsed it with hot water and then left it to dry ready for the next time. I have been using it every other day now and after use I put a moisturiser on my feet. I do still have dry skin but it is nowhere near as bad as it was and I know that if I continue to use this then it will go eventually.
Summary: Even at the prie of £9.99 it is worth the money
