I must say, several months on after purchasing the JML Ped Egg, I have mixed reviews about it, both good and bad. As a brief description about it, the Ped Egg for those who don't know is a file, designed in an oval shaped 'Egg' fashion for removal of dead skin from the bottom an heal of the foot. The Ped Egg file is constructed with several holes and gaps within to allow the dead removed skin to fall through the gaps and become trapped inside the hollow inside. The Egg can then be separated into two parts and the removed skin can be disposed of.

My mixed feelings about the Ped Egg come from the fact that, as a file, it performs adequately and removes dead skin with ease, doing exactly as it says on the tin. The thing which I did not like very much was the fact that it did not seem to catch all the filed material unless it was used to file upside down. This may sound obvious, but it is not as easy as it sounds to keep the file in an upside down manor as my joints aren't as flexible as they use to be!


I thought the Ped Egg would be a bit of a novelty item, since it comes from JML and things that I have bought from JML in the past have been just that, but I must admit it is pretty effective. It can be bought from all the usual JML retailers including Asda and Tesco. It costs just £9.99 and at that price is a bit of a bargain.

Overall, I think that the JML Ped Egg is a fine product, but is very basic and not as effective as it seemed on the TV, although still effective all the same. I would recommend this product as it is the best at removing dead skin I have encountered. I give this product a Dooyoo rating of 3 stars out of 5 as the file is effective but there is nothing very unique about it. The price is very reasonable as well.
