Advantages: Baby soft flip flop friendly feet

Disadvantages: sore feet if you over do it

MY FEET ARE MINGING!!

There we are I got your attention....basically I suffer from dry cracked heels and the pads under my big toes crack and become quite sore.

I purchased a ped egg as a last resort. Everyone I know uses them and recommends them so when I saw one for a fiver in Wilkinsons I thought it was about time I gave it a bash.

Well that was last summer and it worked so I have now dug it out again to start and make my feet flip flop friendly!

The ped egg consists of an egg shaped cannister that has an emery board attatched to the underside, this is handy for toe nails and slight rough areas. The bottom section comes away leaving a palm shaped plastic container with a grater attatched. This container hangs on to all the skin n nasty stuff until you remove it to throw it away!

I generally use mine after a bath when my skin is quite soft and white but this can be a bit silly as the skin is delicate when wet it can be easy to make your feet extremly sore. So I reccomend using it on dry skin when you can control how much you remove. Just try not to over do it at first, I am very impatient and usually end up with pretty sore feet.

It really does work and once you get in to a routine of using the pedegg regularly you dont need to worry about the unsightly cracked heels etc just pretty soft smooth feet.

I use mine every other day through the summer this seems to keep my feet in check, during the winter months I tend to neglect them a little.

So basically I would recomend the ped egg to anyone who likes to show their feet off in the summer in those pretty flip flops, just be carefull you dont over do it and make your feet sore.

One more thing, I always put lots of moisturiser on after using, it just seems to help stop the skin building up again.

Summary: great for summer feet
