Does the job depending on how bad your feet are.

JML Ped Egg
Advantages: Works on rough skin, Collects dead skin in container. Cheap,
Disadvantages: If you just have a little bit of skin that needs taking off it doesn't seem to work.
I decided to buy this simply as I had seen it advertised on numerous occasions on the tv. Its a good idea but to be honest I have stopped using it! Not because its bad just as I don't think I really need it, the skin on my feet isn't hard enough for it to work! So its been money wasted really, the little bit if skin I wanted to get off on my heels wasn't enough for this to work.
However I know its works on rough skin as my partner at the time used it and his feet were really hard and it worked a treat.
The fact that you need something like a grater to work but it doesn't hurt at all is great and the fact that it collects any dead skin in the little container attached is a good idea so no hanging feet over a bin or in the bath etc.
It only cost me £4.99 when I bought it so not a waste of money but I would only suggest using it on really rough skin, looks like my feet were okay without it after all.
Summary: Ok depending on your feet.
