By now most people must have heard of the ped egg- it is a foot care product originally invented by JML and is sold worldwide. I had seen its ad quite a few times but thought it is juts one of those stupid inventions that fills up your cupboard. But my sister how had tried and tested it insisted me on buying this. A foot file for £9-£10- I was ...  Read the complete review

I had read a few reviews on this product on here and obviously seen them in a few stores but at £10 was always a bit reluctant to try it. On seeing this for £5 delivered online, it was just the little push i needed to treat myself... If you could call grating your feet a treat! Premium Review JML Ped Egg: Ped Egg is not tough enough (546 words)
by - written on 13/07/09 (Very useful, 173 readings)

Okay, I tried to resist, but could not hold out any longer: I have given in to advertising and gone and bought myself a Ped Egg. I was determined not to, based mainly on the fact that, on the advert, the shavings collected in this contraption reminds me of parmesan cheese shavings (sorry if you're eating your lunch or ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review pedtastic. (438 words)

I have always had a bit of dry skin on my feet, probably because I almost always wear sandals and flip flops. Over the years, I've tried a number of foot scrubs, files and graters, but none have worked very well. I'd seen lots of adverts for the ped egg by JML but hadn't had much interest because plenty of other foot graters hadn't worked for me ...  Read the complete review

I have just discovered an amazing beauty product that I can now no longer live without. If, like me, you suffer from rough bits of skin on your feet then the Ped Egg is definitely for you. I have used regular foot files before but nothing really seems to get rid of the skin forever but this product is different. The Ped Egg is ...  Read the complete review

The Ped Egg is a great little invention, it fits perfectly into the palm of your hand and enables you to file away all the dead unwanted, unflattering skin on your feet! It is one of the simplest creations I have come across with its micro-files it gets rid of dead skin with great ease, it does sound a bit disgusting but it really does work ...  Read the complete review

***WHAT IS A PED EGG?*** I'm sure many of you may have seen this advertised on the TV on in a store such as Robert Dyas as these are advertised as a JML product. The Ped Egg is a fantastic foot file that uses 135 micro-precision files to gently remove calluses and hard skin to reveal baby, soft feet. The Ped Egg also comes with 2 exfoliating ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Egg-cellent little skin grater for feet. (510 words)
by - written on 21/06/09 (Very useful, 82 readings)

I must admit that when I first saw the TV advertisement for the JML Ped Egg, I found the whole concept of grating dry skin on feet to be repulsive - especially when the advert was aired at teatime. However, being one of those people who do suffer from dry cracked skin, particularly on my heels, and having tried many other products on the market ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review JML Ped Egg: Feet that I can show off! (236 words)
by - written on 19/06/09 (Very useful, 42 readings)

Every time as summer comes round I dread the world seeing my horrible cracked heels. Now although I know that no-one except me (and possibly the occasional very perceptive crawling 2 year old) will really notice them, it makes me self-conscious and no-amount of moisturizing or pumice-stoning seems to make any difference. So when I saw the ...  Read the complete review

Being someone that lives in stiletto shoes, hard, dry skin on my feet is always a problem but i find the JML Ped Egg really helps to combat this problem. It's an easy shape to use, although i would say to keep your feet soft you do need to use it every day and then moisturise afterwards with a think moisturiser. I think the price was really ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on JML Ped Egg
by macimo - written on 03/06/09
Rating:

The Ped-Egg really does work, though I would prefer to say that it is made up of 'micro-blades' rather than 'micro-files'. I prefer to use it on dry feet, not pre-soaked. Do put a protector down on the floor, as the shavings WILL drop out if the metal part is facing downwards. If you have particularly hard cracked skin around your heels, be very careful on those areas as you can nick yourself with it (I've done it, three times!) Use gentle pressure, take it easy, don't be too hasty, if you overdo it, you just might have sore feet the next day, use it about two or three times a week. Finally, finish off each session with a foot-file (like an emery board).

Premium Review Baby soft feet in a jiffy (159 words)

Quite honestly the best £3.99 I have ever spent! I had seen many adverts for the ped-egg, but just thought it was a bit of a gimmick. Blimey! I was so wrong! My feet are very, very dry. I have thickened skin, corns and have been plagued by veruccas for years. Not any more! A bit like a very gentle cheese grater this little device sloughs off the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review JML Ped Egg: A cheesegrater for your feet! (303 words)
by - written on 26/05/09 (Very useful, 42 readings)

I first discovered this product on a US forum and instantly thought it sounded like a great idea- in essence a cheesegrater for your feet! Ok I know that sounds a little disgusting but that is it in a nutshell! I bought this for £7 off ebay and I reckon that is an okay price to pay for what is a hell of a lot better than your average pumic stone. ...  Read the complete review

I suffer from hard skin on my feet and have tried several ways to keep my feet smooth. I bought the ped egg thinking why am I wasting my money on another gadget. It sat in a drawer for a few weeks before I used it. Unlike other hard skin removers the ped egg is used when your feet are dry. It's best to have a cover on the floor under ...  Read the complete review

JML Ped Egg: Ped Egg - What came first? (311 words)
by smiling_giraffes - written on 24/05/09
Rating:

The Ped Egg is designed to use on hard skin found on feet. It has a good erganomic design - being egg shaped its easy and comfortable to hold. It looks similar to a cheese grater and when held correctly collects shaving of skin from your feet. Aside from having a desire to inspect, smell, collect or attempt to sell these shavings ...  Read the complete review

I saw this advertised on TV. My man went "Yuk! That's gross" and I thought "mm, that's interesting" - you see I've suffered with hard skin on my feet for years. I got this recently and I have been pleasantly surprised by the results.I thought it may be just a gimmick but i can say that it genuinely works. The egg fits into the palm of the hand very smugly and is easily gripped. The skin removal side looks like a cheese grater but for very small fine cheese. The ped does not have to be pressed down on the ...  Read the complete review

After seeing this on TV i knew i had to try. I have rough feet with particularly bad cracked heels. Would the ped egg be the little gem that would solve all my problems? I have seen these in shops like Superdrug, Woolworths, Boots etc for a while but I always thought they were a bit expensive.
