L'Oréal Infallible Brush
Advantages: cheap, good quality, gives flawless skin.
Disadvantages: not good for darker skin,
I am currently going through my make up collection trying to review it all, I will be here a while as I have a large collection. I have many favourite brands from the cheap to more expensive designer make up, I do spend a lot of money on make up but its my only bad habit. Today I will review Loreal Infaillible Foundation.
Where to buy?
I bought it from superdrug for £8.00 6 months ago, its still for sale in all good chemists or supermarkets so it is widely available on the high street. Its available in 9 different shades but think anyone with a dark coloured skin may find it difficult to find the right shade.
What Loreal say?
Infaillible make up is loreals first foundation that fights the signs of make up melt down and lasts upto 16 hours. Now enriched with the new Hydra-Luminous Complex, it ensures radiance all day long, with the security of a non transfer formula.
About the design?
It has been very well designed, the bottle is made from glass and feels quite heavy to hold, it has a slightly hourglass shape to the bottle, It has red detailing a label on the bottle with lots of product information. The foundation has a special brush applicator attached to the foundation.
How to use?
Its one of the easiest foundations to use as its very simple to apply, As I said it has a brush already attached to the bottle so there is no need for a foundation brush. I always start in the middle of my face and brush the foundation outwards. The brush gets into all corners or hard to cover areas, the foundation brush applicator also made it very easy to blend the foundation. Using the brush gives you a flawless make up base without much effort or mess.
I liked the design of the bottle and having the brush applicator made applying foundation much less hassle as there was no messy fingers! It also gave my skin great coverage and better control on applying the foundation, it was good to cover hard areas around the nose and eyes, it blended very evenly under my jaw line. It felt light on my skin compared to many foundations I have tried, It reflected my problem areas on my skin, covered my spots and have redness in my skin. My skin looked glowing this must have been the Luminous formula. I work in a hospital and I am always on my feet running around and the foundation stayed on my face the whole day and most of that evening without it drying in or looking patchy. I defenatly got a good 12 hours wear out of it, and it did not transfer onto my uniform or clothing. I mainly use this as my work foundation as it has staying power and does not transfer. I was happy with the price I paid and have since bought it again and am on my 2nd bottle now.
Summary: good enough for me to buy again
