... off. The balm in the tin is very solid and has a waxy feel to it. When you first use it it takes a while to warm and soften it up by rubbing a finger over the surface before you can actually use it. The scent is of vanilla and honey with a slight hint of peppermint. It smells really nice but the scent is not too strong so that you can smell it all day when you have the balm on. It glides onto the lips really smoothly and effortlessly, and it feels lovely and soothing. My lips feel instantly softened, smoother, and...more

Premium Review Lush Honey Trap Lip Balm: I GOT CAUGHT BY THE HONEY TRAP LIP BALM (532 words)

Lush, what can I say? I just absolutely love Lush and its quite funny saying that because I only Ventured into one about a week and a half ago! If you don't know by now and I'm sure most of you will, Lush are a Very Popular well known Company who make Fresh, Organic Bath, Body, Hair Products. And with the definite added bonus that they are 100% against Animal testing. Which makes me feel all the better knowing that defenseless animals haven't been harmed or killed just so that we can all look and smell nice, Like iv said before its a pity that more companies wont follow suite as the world would definitely be a better place without animal ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Seriously Lush Lips (489 words)

I’m a lush addict - the store in Nottingham can be smelt streets away, and on the odd occasion when I have a bit of spare cash with which to treat myself, its one of the shops I often visit. With winter drawing in, my lips have started to dry out and crack, so a couple of weeks ago, I went in with one aim in mind - Lip Balm! I'm sure you've heard of lush - a company founded in 1994 selling handmade cosmetics made from all natural ingredients with no animal testing. They have a whole range of products - shampoo, hair dye, shower gel, bu8bble bars and more, but essentially all you need to know is that the products are not tested on animals are ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Lush Honey Trap Lip Balm: I'm not too old to be a honey trap (540 words)

I am not keen on Lush products because they smell too strong for me but I do like the Honey Trap Lip Balm because it softens my lips and has stopped them getting chapped over the winter. The lip balm comes in a wee screw top tin and I think the top is always very easy to get off. I used a lip balm in a screw top tin a few years ago and the top got stuck one day and I could never get it off again even with a pair of pliers so the lip balm was wasted. The tin looks very nice and I think it is more interesting than a lip balm in a normal tube. The lip balm smells lovely, honey is the strongest smell but there is also a very faint chocolate smell and it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review .. now my face will attract bees! A good thing? (256 words)

After gagging slightly considering the amount of petroleum (related to petrol, so probably not good for me?) that I would ingest over my lifetime from lipbalms, I plumped for Lush's more organic Honey trap lipbalm - swayed to this decision by my fervent love of Lush's honey-scented soap "Honey I washed the kids" - I rightly assumed that this would also be brilliant. The moisturising base of this lipbalm consists of almond oil, beeswax, extra virgin olive oil and shea butter, rather than any chemically engineered badness - I find the fact that half Lush's ingredients can be found in a well-stocked kitchen oddly comforting! Flavour is also naturally ...  Read the complete review

I have recently become a fan of Lush. I am currently buying lots of their products. Lush make everying from bath ball (Bath Ballistic) to Body, and hair Products. And as a vegetarian I also love the fact they are totally against animal testing. I have recently been to Lush and has i was strolling down the aisle's something caught my eye and it was the Honey Trap Lip Balm. Loads of them were there piled together, loads of testers around it and i wouldnt to try it out. I picked it up and the smell just took my breath away, such a nice Honey type smell, but not an over-powering scent that would make you sick. So without further ado i took it to the counter and ...  Read the complete review
