The last product I reviewed here at dooyoo was Lush's Honey I Washed The Kids soap, in which I described it as a delicious-smelling, but somewhat overpriced luxury item (that's the review in a nutshell). So it may seem somewhat surprising that I went back to Lush to make additional purchases. Well, the explanation is that it was my birthday recently and some friends treated me to a voucher to the always heavenly-smelling Lush store. Since the weather is getting colder I have noticed that the skin on my hands has been suffering a bit. Add to that that I tend to get quite a lot of hangnails (which I then cannot resist pulling, leading to blood and carnage), and ... Read the complete review

This is my first ever product from the lovely Lush shop in Dundee. It was bought for me as a gift from my bloke who had heard me saying how nice it was when we were browsing one day and surprise to me - he remembered. I've read many of the Lush product reviews and was quite surprised that this one wasn't already on the site so was really surprised when my suggestion for it came through only 2 days later. ***Background*** Lush is a company that specialises in making and selling beauty products made of fresh natural ingredients that do not contain animal ingredients. They make the products by hand and you will see on your product who made ... Read the complete review

A friend bought me this a few months ago as a cheer up present! It is currently priced at £5.37 for a dinky 50g pot, so it is not something I would have usually bought for myself as it is rather expensive. The pot describes it as a versatile cuticle butter, which can also be used on heels, elbows and toes. I have very dry horrible elbows, and they get worse in the cold weather. I've tried a ridiculously long list of creams and lotions on them and none of them have had a lasting effect- until now! I applied it to my elbows before bed, and by the morning all the dry and flakey skin had disappeared- for the first time in years I was left with lovely ... Read the complete review

This Lush cream is a wonder of creamy lemony tangy goodness and one of my favourite Lushie items. Packaging= Lush are an ethical company and where possible try to minimise packaging used. So this packaging is a black plastic tub which is recyclable, take it back to the store and they will be happy to do it for you!!! It tells you the ingredients on the back and has a mint cartoon picture of the person who made it and a best before date to use the cream up by, because it will deteriorate after a long time. Usually about a year or so which is more than enough time to get the sizeable 50 gram pot used up, it will be very hard to make it last that long I ... Read the complete review

If ever there was a multi-purpose product from Lush, this is it! This miracle butter works wonders on your feet, hands, elbows - and anywhere else you care to put it! When you open your little pot of Lemony Flutter you'll be hit by the smell of Sherbert Lemons. Only a wee bit less tangy/sharp. It looks a bit like a light-yellow mousse. But,once you touch it you can tell it's a bit more solid than that. You only need the tiniest little bit of it to do both of your hands - massage it into cuticles to make them behave and smoothe into hands to get rid of any damage the winter has done or is doing! My hands are one of the ... Read the complete review
