... honestly smells good enough to eat, however the smell is not is not sickly. Amongst the ingredients are Shea Butter, Beeswax and Olive Oil so its no surprise that this a very moisturising balm. It even contains dark chocolate. The balm itself is quite thick and you only need the smallest amount. It always leaves my lips beautifully moisturised and soft, and the effects last some time, giving a nice sheen. I have also found it effective on other small patches of dry skin such as my elbows. Lush Whip Stick: Just Call Me Miss Whiplash (670 words)

I am not a fan of Lush as a rule. I've had a few of their products over the last few years and although they're not bad I think that they are fairly over-priced for what they are. I'm one of the population that thinks that all Lush stores ought to be made to put air-lock doors at the front of their premises to keep the smells in. It's not that the smell is bad, rather its too strong and I don't want to be smelling Lush products whilst queuing for a coffee or whilst trying on clothes. I came upon my little pot of Lush Whip Stick as a result of a birthday present. I'll admit that my initial reaction was one of disappointment but I might just have to ...  Read the complete review

Lush Whip Stick Lip Balm (839 words)

When I decided I was going to stop neglecting my lips Lush was my first port of call for products to use. I knew I could walk into a Lush store and pick up some lip products safe for my vegetarian lips without having to spend ages reading tiny bits of writing on the back of the products to find that actually this contains something I don't want near my mouth and/or has been tested on animals. Among the many different flavours of lip balm Lush sell I opted for this Whip Stick lip balm because, well who isn't tempted by 'a yummy chocolate orange lip balm' as Lush describe it? A 10g pot of this lip balm costs £5.50 which, considering I've had this about three ...  Read the complete review

Lush Whip Stick: You will smell like a chocolate bar all day long (494 words)

I was in Lush the other week and managed to spend a small fortune on a basket of goodies. I stocked up on some lip balms as I love the ones from Lush. I picked up a whipstick as although I have been buying balms from Lush for years it was one that I hadn't actually tried as it is primarily chocolate flavoured and although I love chocolate to eat it isn't one of my favourite scents in a beauty product. The whipstick costs £5.25 for a 10g tub which is small but like most of the balms from Lush you only need a little bit of the product to completely cover lips so it will last quite a long time. As I mentioned the main ingredient is chocolate but it also ...  Read the complete review

Chocolate & orange - now I´m hungry! (854 words)

My decision to move to the UK was influenced by Terry´s chocolate oranges. I was in Laos when I first thought about applying to an English university but things like the rain and the food (sorry, all mainland stereotypes that fortunately turned out to be false) made me doubt my decision a little bit. Fortunately I was travelling with a British guy and as it was around Christmas time his mum send him a little care package - including Terry´s chocolate oranges! I felt in love with them instantly and my decision was made - a country that can create something as delicious as that just has to be MY country. I´ve told that story my boyfriend a few months ago and, ...  Read the complete review

Lush Whip Stick: Chocolate orange chops? (491 words)

I tend to be quite prone to dry and chapped lips, so I'm always on the look out for a decent lip balm which I can carry around with me. Lush's lip balms really appealed to me, because they're very portable in their small tins and also seem to be that little more special than your average chap stick. Whipstick is one of Lush's lip balm ranges, and costs £4.75 for a 10g tin. This may sound a little expensive, and I also do feel that it's a pricey product, but it does last an extremely long time! I purchased my tin around 6 months ago and still have at least half of it left, so it's a good long lasting product. The lip balm comes in a small silver tin. ...  Read the complete review
