I am not a fan of Lush as a rule. I've had a few of their products over the last few years and although they're not bad I think that they are fairly over-priced for what they are. I'm one of the population that thinks that all Lush stores ought to be made to put air-lock doors at the front of their premises to keep the smells in. It's not that the smell is bad, rather its too strong and I don't want to be smelling Lush products whilst queuing for a coffee or whilst trying on clothes. I came upon my little pot of Lush Whip Stick as a result of a birthday present. I'll admit that my initial reaction was one of disappointment but I might just have to ... Read the complete review

I got this as part of a Christmas box from my thoughtful brother, but have only just got around to reviewing it! I had never been to Lush before, despite the lovely smells wafting past every store, as it always seemed quite expensive. I am quite funny about the lip balms I use - I have sensitive skin and usually if I use anything other than Vaseline, my lips become red and cracked. So it took me a long time before deciding to try this lip balm. The pot is quite small and cute and would fit easily in a handbag. The ingredients listed are reassuringly natural, including things like oats, beeswax, honey and orange oil! The smell is lovely too, really ... Read the complete review

Off i went to Lush to pick up a few more things. I made a pact to myself - do not leave the store spending more than a tenner, no more than a tenner. I made this promise since every time I left a Lush store, my purse would be atleast twenty quid lighter. I remained strong and only spent £8.82! I felt very proud of myself! hehe :) I bought two items - nope, I'm not bluffing, it really is true. One of my two items was the Whip Stick lip balm. It's a chocolate and orange flavoured lip balm. I'm a sucker for chocolate so it's no surprise that I keep buying this product every time one of my Whip Stick pots are finished. Before I start my review, here's ... Read the complete review

I received this lip balm as a birthday present a couple of years ago, and I love it! It's advertised currently (March 09) as being £4.40 for a 10g pot. Lush pride themselves on the freshness of their natural products and so my balm has an expiry day of 22/10/08 on the bottom of it, much like a fresh food product. However, it's still going strong at the end of March 09, although obviously this is just personal experience, and each Lush product tends to come out differently. The ingredients (all listed on the base of the pot) show you just how much fresh stuff is in this lip balm- pretty much everything listed is something simple like 'olive oil' or ... This was the first lush product I ever bought. I had read reviews on the lip balms beforehand and thought it sounded great. A chocolate smelling lipbalm. I orginally was going to ask for it as part of a gift set but instead I happened to go into a newly opened store and decided to buy this product there and then. As lush products can be quite expensive I wanted to buy something with more than one use and for me a lipbalm was the ideal first product to buy. It costed me £4.40 and yes that it rather on the expensive side for such a small product but it is worth it and I will be buying this product again when I have the money. The lip balm itself is called whip stick ... Read the complete review
