I have been using an ioniser since the 80's - I have asthma-like wheezing which is sparked off by dust, pollen, long-haired animals and so on. One day my father read about the ionisers in a magazine and decided to buy one for me to try. I plugged it in near my bed. Within 3 months my wheezing was gone. It really was like some kind of miracle cure for me. Whenever the ioniser wears out my wheezing gradually comes back. I will never go without one again. Some makes are better than others though so I would recommend the Mountain Breeze one, as they seem to last longer than the chemist's own brand. They are definately worth every penny.
