The nail file is actually made of a hardened glass and so is very tough and excellent at filing nails as it is so hard. I like that it is not flimsy and is a hard nail file. A nail file is something I always carry in my bag just in case of any broken nails at the wrong time. These can be annoying and if not caught straight away can often pull off more of the nail than you want so I always carry one. I find the more hardened style nail files are much more practical than the cardboard style ones as these ones you can use forever whereas the other ones you have to get rid of pretty much after a few uses so I think its a much better economy.
