You have to put the gel on the pad's place the pad's on which ever muscles then strap's, you then plug these into the control unit.MAKE SURE THE UNIT IS ON MINIMUM when you start but you will find out rather quickly if you dont.... then you just sit on a chair or lay on the bed with a book or the TV on and let the system do the work usually about 20 min's until you get use to it.
