The mascara brush is another great brush from the Ruby & Millie stable. World renowned make up artist Ruby Hammer and Beauty PR expert Millie Kendall are behind this make up brand created specially for Boots. Slowly but surely I seem to be replacing all my make up brushes with Ruby & Millie's and adding a few along the way. One such brush that i recently replaced was my mascara brush which had to be honest seen better days. This brush is very easy to use and has a long silver wooden handle with a mascara wand at the end. The mascara wand is firm and felxible and defines and separates my lashes easily giving an eye popping look. It removes any mascara clumps and makes my lashes look impressive instantly with great results. The brush also doubles up as a brow brush, which is kind of handy and cuts back on the amount of brushes in my make up bag. This is a great buy and the ruby & millie mascara brush costs £4.00, which is very reasonable. It is available from most major Boots. A word to the wise watch out for the Boots voucher with purchase which often is for £5 off Ruby & Millie products or No. 7 products, i have received these several times over the last year and used them for Ruby & Millie brushes, anything to help my ever expanding brush collection along! Another one for my make up bag!
****Ruby & Millie Mascara Brush**** This is not something that i would normally consider buying but i received a £5 ruby and millie voucher (something boots give out a lot) and since i didn't need any nail polishes, face wipes etc i got the cheapest thing i could get-this brush for £4. **The brand** I think this brand is exclusive to boots and as far as i know the link mainly has make up brushes(not sure if it does anything else). The line itself is advertised as being suitable for personal use and for make up artists. The packaging for this is very minimal which i think is good as it keeps costs down. The brush is a full sized one (about the length of a pencil) and the bristles feel quite sturdy. I mostly use this brush with my cheaper mascaras because the brushes don't tend to be as good with these. I found that it doesn't really help your lashes look longer or anything but it does help separate lashes so that your mascara does not look clumpy. Overall i do use this quite a lot but i think i only use it because i have it - if i didn't have it i don't think that i would miss it. £4 is not a bad price to pay but i would still suggest waiting for one of their vouchers as boots offer these quite frequently.
Gently separate your lashes with this brush after applying mascara to help frame your eyes perfectly /
