Make nail varnish vanish! (Sainsbury's Nail Polish Remover)

Advantages: Works well and is inexpensive.

Disadvantages: Maybe a bit rougher on nails than the more expensive brands.

I very rarely wear nail varnish these days but when I do I like taking it off to be an easy task not a nightmare and for that reason I always buy a decent brand name that I know will do a good job, recently however on an outing to sainsbury`s I picked up a bottle of their own brand nail varnish remover as I knew I had none left at home.

The 250ml bottle cost me only £1.29 and to be honest it worked every bit as well as any of the more expensive brand had done, even though the expensive brands all make their own fantastic claims as to how much better theirs is from all others.

The smell of this is as you would expect, a very strong chemical type scent which is why this is best used in a room with a window open as it can become a bit overpowering but then so do all nail varnish removers.

The only slight downside to this one is that it leaves my nails a bit dry looking after use but only for a day or so, I think the more expensive brands such as Cutex and the likes might be a bit kinder to nails but I have had no lasting problems from this sainsbury one and it does the job well at half the price of others so it does for me.
