Advantages: Reasonably priced lip care
Disadvantages: needs frequent application
Another one of my bargain buys...my local savers really is the business!! This cost £2.00, which considering the cost of many lip treatments wasn't badly priced at all. I have tried to find out the RRP but can't find it on the internet... if anyone finds it cheaper than this, please don't tell me or I will lose all faith in savers!!
This I bought just before I went away because I have been known to go on holiday, not moisturise the old lips, and come back all scaly and revolting. The worst time ever was on a 14 hour flight...all dehydrated and no solution till Heathrow!
This 18 hour treatment is a treatment which, as the name suggests, is supposed to treat, repair and condition your lips for 18 hours. As well as this, it apparantly replenishes dry cracked lips.
So...for anyone with dry or cracked lips, who wants smooth beautifully supple lips, then this is the product for you (or so the blurb on the back has you believe)
**Product and Packaging**
The lip treatment comes in a rather nice bottle, mascara size and shape, but clear and with a lip gloss applicator. Not nasty packaging, this isn't something which has to be hidden away...the top is a rather nice silver colour, and I do think the packagaing overall is quite attractive.
My lip treatment is the clear mauve colour, so it looks a bit lilac/pink in colour, but goes on completely clear, although it does have a sweet taste which is rather nice.
It does glide on very easily, using a small lip applicator and lasts right to the end of the tube. By this I mean, that even as you get near to the end of the product, there is no shaking the tube about the place trying to get to the last clogged up remnants.
**How does it work**
There has to be a way in which the treatment manages to do all it promises to do, and sure enough, on the back of the packaging, it explains all.
It contains Retinol, Grape seed Oil and Mango, which work together to rehydrate your lips, while Allantoin soothes sore lips.
There is also a time release formula which means that these super ingredients are released slowly over a period of time.
I can believe all of this but what I can't believe is that it can manage to do it over 18 hours...what happens when you eat, or drink? Does the treatment stay firmly on your lips? I don't think so!
**Using it...**
This is how I know before I try it, that it will NOT last 18 hours.
The instructions tell me quite clearly that it should be applied several times a day, and that it should be reapplied after meals.

**What I thought...**
I do like this.
It can be easily applied on its own or under normal lip products.
It glides on easily and when i have first applied it i look all glossed up!! Although I said it is clear, it does make lips look a slightly more intense colour than usual, so really, I have found there is no need to apply colour (but then i never do).
It does keep lips moisturised even when it's really hot and they stand a chance of drying out. Frequent re application is necessary to keep that all day soft and supple feeling, but it's easy to poop in your bag or pocket and keep using.
A good, well priced lip treatment which keeps lips all soft and kissable!!
thanks for reading
