Premium Review Slendertone Flex: My belly isn't toned even using slendertone! (673 words)

After having my second baby I lost my baby weight quite quickly and I was really pleased, what I was not pleased with however was the state of my stomach. Anyone who has had children will know what I mean, my belly wasn't fat, just wrinkly, loose, untoned skin. Which is quite understandable given how much it stretches when you're pregnant. I ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Slendertone Flex

I have had this belt for several weeks, and am a little cautious about using too high of a setting. This device sends electrical pulses through the pads to target muscles, at selected intervals, at adjustable strengths. Since your heart is a muscle, I would caution you against using it at levels where you feel muscle stress beyond the muscle groups under the contact pads, on the belt. Do not wear it any higher than over your naval. If you have a heart condition, avoid.

I was excited to try the Slendertone ab product as I find traditional stomach exercises quite stressful on my back and neck. I was also looking for a 'quick fix' solution to toning up my abs. One of the biggest benefits is the ease of use of the product, once you have this on you are free to do whatever else you need to. I made this ...  Read the complete review

When I first received my Slendertone Abs Belt, I was quite dubious about whether it would work or not. I was apprehensive about using it correctly and found it quite strange at first. Getting in a routine wearing it was the biggest challenge, although I teamed it up with watching my routine TV shows and then it became a habit. The belt became ...  Read the complete review

People say it is not possible to sit with a belt on and gain core strength and tighter more defined abs. These people are wrong. Dead wrong. This belt is a genious invention and after only 8 sessions, i am seeing the results. When coupled with the six week plan, available from the slendertone website, and a healthy diet, the results can be seen in ...  Read the complete review

I've never really believed in these belts. In the adverts they always use these perfect models, with totally flat abs to model for them and that always seemed kinda cheesy for me! But, you know, time was short for me. I'm always working or studying and I do like excersise, I regularly cycle and swim but it really wasn't doing much for my stomach. ...  Read the complete review

"You can even use SLENDERTONE products while you work out!" - NOT! There is no mention of the acceptable intensity of that workout. Before purchasing my Flex, I downloaded the directions and read them. It said not to get it wet. I called technical support to ask about wearing the belt while exercising and sweating. ...  Read the complete review

I bought my slendertone flex from QVC a few months ago for just under £85 although i have seen it sell for closer to £100 in some shops. I am very impressed with the results i have seen. Introduction: __________ I asked my husband a weird question the other evening; I asked him if I was interfering with the telly, not the normal sort of question I ask but still it did give me my title and a way to introduce my opinion. Why would I ask such a thing, I mean, me! Interfering with the telly? That only ...  Read the complete review

Shorts that tone up your bottom and thighs - now where have we heard that before? Well, in a million scam stories, for a start. The difference here is that these don't promise to slim you through sweat but by actually exercising your muscles as you go about your normal business. I've had some health problems over the last few years which has meant that I've had rather less than my normal quota of exercise. The Slendertone flex is the latest in slendertone's range of faradic exercisers. The one I have is for the abdominals although they alsop now have a flex for the bum and thighs which you wear like a pair of shorts. The tummy one is great. I have had 5 children and a bad back so the usual round of sit ups and crunches are no longer feasible ...  Read the complete review

This little machine doesn't do magic, but it can help you to 'fight the flab' and tighten up your tummy muscles. If you are over weight by more than a few pounds you need to use this in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet. Premium Review Good, but not that good (213 words)
by - written on 03/08/00 (Useful, 6126 readings)

I had the Flex for a little over 7 weeks and although the idea is good, in principle, the effects weren't that great. It is really easy to use, no fiddly, trailing wires, or having to sit near the power socket as with the "toning machines" of old. I managed to get some muscle flexing at the first use, but I only ever ...  Read the complete review

The 'Flex' is a new product from Slendertone. If you're not familiar with these type of things, they generally consist of pads which you place over your muscles and they work your muscles for you, simliar to doing about 200 sit ups, while you can just sit and relax! Unlike previous muscle stimulation systems which have pads and ...  Read the complete review
