Okay, Before i start my review i would like to say that i am reviewing the Slendertone System Abs accessoery pack, and the controls as i have looked through the Slendertone products on here are can't find my model so i thought i would post under the Slendertone Misc' listing. I am soooo sick of people complaining that this product doen't work whilst probably sitting on the couch stuffing themselves with pizza and chips. Just because this product works your muscles passively (eg, you don't put any effort in) DOES NOT mean that you can sit there guzzling rubbish and end up looking like someone out of baywatch!! In order to see toned muscle- a six pack, there has to be very little fat since this disguises it and lays on top of the muscle. Therefore, to gain a toned stomach, you must lose the excess weight first and then tone the muscles underneath. I bought a gym body 8 some years ago the one in the purple box with all the wires it was a real pain to set up i ran out of the gel and ended up useing my boyfriends hair gel,ha but useing it for an hour every day for a few months it really did work i was only a size 10 to start with i lost inches of my waist i used it for about 10 months before i got bored that was 6 years ago and i can honestly say i have never had a problem with my belly . now 27 geting on a bit i have just bought slendertone flex and the shorts i use them 4 times a week the flex doesnt seem as good as the gymbody 8 but it is working. How stupid are some of you??? I mean seriously pay attention to the item you are buying and what it is suppose to do. First of all it doesnt claim to "melt" your fat away. You have to stop stuffing your mouth full of all the food you do ....in other words if you want to see the six pack...CHANGE YOUR DIET!! This item DOES firm the MUSCLE! Meaning it DOES tighten your abs it DOES NOT BURN FAT!!!....Hello any of this getting through??? After seeing many TV ads for the Slendertone System Abs for Women, I decided to take the plunge and buy one for me and the male version for my partner. Both of us go to the gym regularly (ok, he goes regularly, I try to!) and we were under no illusion of being able to lose weight with the Slendertone; this will not make you lose weight, it will only tone up your muscles so of course you will have to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle and do some exercise to see the maximum results!
