Disadvantages: cost, ineffective, ongoing expense

I bought the Slendertone body and facial units, and have been disappointed by both of them. In the first place, if you look at the equipment and accompanying literature objectively, you may well ask yourself how the company justifies the very high prices they charge. And you 'll go on paying out because, with the greatest care possible, the stickon pads just don't last very long. Trying to reorder them over the Net is a nightmare, as the website is one of the worst I've visited, confused and slow.
Setting up the equipment is a cumbersome business, especially with the facial unit. It is not easy to do other things when the facial unit is on, as the pads fall off.
I've been using both units for a year now, and can truly say that there is no improvement at all in my face or figure. I just wish I'd spent the money on a stay at a health farm, or a gym subscription. I feel ashamed of the naivety which led me to buy these products for, after all, if they were that effective, everyone would be buying them.
