A great make up brush I love to use!

When it comes to make up brushes I own a large collection of them really due to the fact that I am a qualified Beauty Therapist by trade and believe in the right tools for the right job.

Stila brushes....well I like them. Stila is a premium brand with premium prices though and about £14.00 for this one brush I would never consider buying it to be honest however I was lucky enough to meet a guy on a local market recently selling loads of Stila products at amazing prices and this one cost me just £2.50. I didn't know its full retail price till checking it out online and was really pleased when I saw my saving, as well as loving the brush!

      The Brush Itself:

This has a long handle, it is black and slim and finished in matt so not slippy when in use. Down one side of it in silver lettering we are told that it is Stila Brush which looks really classy then towards the top of it a shiny silver section which is very secure is there and the brush head fits into that.

The brush head is short, smooth and made from natural pony and goat hair which is of course why you pay so much for it. It is a slightly rounded brush and not too thick and this is meant to be a blending brush of course.

This brush is great in use and really easy to direct to where you want to go which was a slight concern for me at first as it has such a long handle. I use this with powder eyeshadows (as its meant to be used) and powder clings on wonderfully with no flaking and I just go to work blending in my eyeshadow as I normally would.

The bristles are soft and strong and none have come out. Once a week I wash this through with a little baby shampoo and allow it to dry naturally and its retained its lovely shape and kept its quality and lost none of the bristles at all as far as I can see.

Yes this brush is worth the £14.00ish it costs if your willing to pay that for a make up brush usually however I'm of course happier with the price I paid for mine! Although I love this brush I wouldn't still go out and pay £14.00ish for it to be honest but that's only because I have far cheaper brushes than this in my large collection that are just as good!
