WHAT IS IT?
These are scrunchies that are sold in Superdrug. A srunchie is a fabric band for your hair that has got elastic inside so that you can use them to put a pony tail in the hair.
WHY DID I BUY THEM?
My school age daughters have both got long hair that I put into a pony or a plait for school, I bought these scrunchies because they look nice with their school uniform and they do a very good job at keeping their hair looking tidy also.
WHAT I THINK
These scrunchies come in a pack of 2 and cost £2 for the pair of them. They are quite large but the elastic is very good so they hold even childrens hair that is thinner than an adults, my children do not have hair that is very thin because of their Italian heritage but it is not thick like mine.
I wrap the scrunchies around the pony at least 3 times but that does not make them look like they are too large and that does not stretch the fabric either. They are unsuitable for tying the bottom of a plait because they are too large and bulky.
I think these are very good quality and even though I have used them both many times the elastic is still tight and there are no splits on the long seam that goes round the length of each scrunchie.
I am happy that my daughters ponys stay in all through the day at school and these scrunchies do not slide out of their hair like some cheaper ones that I bought early this year.
I use a scrunchie sometimes when I am exercising and I am happy to use these because I think they are effective at holding my hair in place also.
