      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Worth a go at a quid lol

Last night I went on the first date I've had in ages! Actually it was an ex from a couple of years ago who asked me out lol.

To be honest with you I've taken time out from the dating scene of late as I got sick and tired of it all, however although I've barely left the house (mostly down to bad health) I've still bought a lot of products with big nights out planned (in my head lol) and the other day I decided no more...I'm back on the warpath whilst I'm well enough to be lol.

I always seem to find a lot of bargains whilst I'm out shopping and sure I make a killing in savings but to be honest it's all purchases of stuff I don't need! lol.

This was one of those such purchases!

I bought this for a pound in Tesco because it was reduced from £5.49 . I have no idea why they were all reduced though! I did think this was the end of a product line till I saw them back on display at the said price of £5.49 and it's the same product in the exactly the same packaging lol. Odd!

      The Packaging....

The brush came in a partially see through and frosted white oblong box. On the front over a small black band of colour I'm told it's Shimmer Body Brush, on the lid I'm told it's Finest and on the base of the box there is a bar-code on there. On the back of the box (all in black writing) I'm told a bit about the product and how to use it, warnings and ingredients are listed, I'm given contact details for Tesco and finally the size is stated (10g) and the only size this is available in.

A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Box....

This fragrance free Finest Shimmer Brush will leave skin with exquisite veil of delicate shimmer. Skin sparkles with a subtle, yet healthy sheen. Dermatologically tested.

      Directions For Use....

Gently tap the brush until the shimmer powder is released. Dust all over clean, dry skin after the bath or shower, paying special attention to collarbones, decolletage and wherever else you want to sparkle.

      Me Using It....

Well when you first see the product it is half clear plastic and half shiny silver (the lid which gently twists on and off and a silver rim to the bottom of it) and then a section of clear plastic with the white powder in it in a cylinder tube. You gently take the lid off and your met with quite a large and excellent (malt free) black brush which feels very natural. A nice feature on this is that around the base of the brush itself there is a silver ring and you can pull that up (again really easily) and it protects the bristles so that when you put the long silver lid over it clasps into that rim and neatly sits back down making it compact and you know the bristles are well protected and stored nicely and that ring I mentioned when you using the product gently grips hold and you nudge it to put it into use when you need to. It's really simple and as a design I really do rate it the only sad thing is, is that it isn't recyclable!

So to use it you put the brush where you want to apply the shimmer and gently dab and/or wipe. The powder is as light as a feather in texture. It goes on slightly white with a real nicely blended and fine bronze glitter within it. It's easy to apply and it's fuss free and incredibly subtle though of course you can keep going with this until you have your own desired results.

I do stress though this is a high quality product and if your expecting to dazzle like a party queen well... no I don't think you will...I certainly don't. All it does is give a hint of sheen and shimmer and once it's applied it doesn't transfer, congest or feel uncomfortable on the skin at all and it rinses off with ease.

I quite like a bit on my shoulders and although I like the idea of this product, really it's so subtle I can barely see it though it does make skin feel soft and smooth and there is a bit of sheen like I previously mentioned.

I wouldn't touch it for £5.49 a pop to be honest but if you fancy a product such as this and don't want to look like a fairy off the top of a Christmas tree we may differ on our opinions. For a quid though it's a great buy!

      Only available in Tesco stores.
