Tweezerman No-Slip Skin Care Tool
I bought this from Amazon with my dooyoo voucher about a month ago as I have tried many skin strips to rid to get rid of my blackheads but none of them work for me. I have tried the Tzone and biore strips and I even bought the japanese daiso face mask for blackheads from singapore but none of them work for me... and neither did this!
I haven't used tweezerman products before this and I was surprised by the very high quality of the product. It is very sturdy, strong and well made and it also has a mesh pattern on the middle part so you can hold onto it easier.
It has a small loop on one end which is for 'mature' whiteheads and the other flatter side is for blackheads. I have tried this several times but the only result I get is horseshoe shaped red marks on my skin and the black heads are still there! Maybe I have been doing this wrong but it does not do anything to my blackheads but the smaller loop did get rid of some of my little whiteheads that I had but it did not work for the blackheads.
I have tried many different ways of using this product on both ends of the tool as well but it really did not do anything to my blackheads and it just made red marks on my skin which hurt quite a bit.
*Very high quality product - well made and it is very strong
*No slip middle section so you can hold onto it easily
*Did NOT get rid of my blackheads it just made red marks on my skin - but maybe I was doing it wrong but I have used it many ways and they are still here
*Good for getting rid of some little whiteheads
*Needs to be cleaned well to make sure you don't create spots
*I bought it from amazon for £8 with free super saver delivery
Thank you for reading my review
having the dreaded T ZONE on my face, i am prone to a few black heads on my chin and nose. HORRID and YUK
I found this item in the local chemist, and purchased for what i thought was a bargain price of £3.99
so, once home I got a hot flannel to put on my face to help open the pores and set about work on the dreaded backheads on my chin.
yes i found this item good, as there was no cross contamination from you fingers etc, and you could sterilise before and after use, but:
I found using this tool more painful than the regular way of ridding such as looking in the mirror and squeeze. I also found that i had to push down quite hard to get the black head out, which left me with a deep round red mark which felt bruised.
once completed, I of course cleaned my skin again and ensured i put some antiseptic type cream on the area treated.
I found that the brusied feeling and the red marked disapeared by the following morning, but it left me feeling reluctant to use again, purely because i found it painful
i would say this is a good product purely from a hygenic point of view, and would recommend it if you do suffer alot with spots etc, other wise I would say no
