Quality product (Tweezerman Stainless Steel Slant Tweezers)
Member Name: pegster
Advantages: Good quality, last for ever Disadvantages: The price - but you get what you pay for I am the proud owner of three pairs of these tweezers (one pair in the office, one pair at home and a third in my make up bag) and agree that, although more expensive than many other brands, they are worth the money. They squeeze together well and it's possible to get a firm grip on the finest or shortest hairs and remove them easily. The tweezers feel really "substantial" when you are using them, they don't flex in the middle if you apply too much pressure or lose their spring after being used for a while. The different colours are obvioulsy a marketing exercise but not at the expense of quality. I would recommend looking after the plastic cap that covers the ends of the tweezers - not only does it keep the tweezers clean and sharp but it stops them cutting into your fingers when you rifle through your drawers or make up bag. Very sharp, very painful and draws blood! My tweezers are at least five years old and showing no signs of wear. Maybe I look after them better because they were relatively expensive. Summary: Worthwhile investment |
