Advantages: They work brilliantly and last a lifetime!
Disadvantages: cost
Yes, they are tweezers.....yes they cost £17 at the moment. I have had mine years, 11 to be honest! I paid £10 for mine in Selfridges in Central London. They are as good now, as they were the day I bought them!
My wedding make-up artist recommended these to me. Shocked to my very core when I saw the price, but I was child free back then, and actually had money to 'waste'.
They are longer than average tweezers, meauring approx 11cm. The body of the tweezer is painted in a variety of colours, I have the pink. They come packaged in a simple tube made of plastic with a stopper on the top and a foam protector inside on the sharp tip. The paint is like an enamel, hard and chip resistant. The tip is stainless steel, slanted and razor sharp. They close to absolute precision, and if you pinch a bit of skin inbetween, you know about it, trust me.
These really are the Rolls Royce of tweezers. They can pull out the shortes, finest of hairs, enabelling supremely well groomed eye brows. As I have mentioned, i have had and used mine for many years, they are still very sharp, and have not bowed at all. I store mine lose in the bottom of my make up bag, so haven't looked after them especially well.
If you struggle to pull short hairs out and get frustrated my useless tweezers, then invest with confidence in this massively expensive high end product. Well worth it.
