A really beautiful quilt, very comfortable, looks a million dollars

      =Argos Egyptian Cotton Duvet Cover=
I like the Egyptian cotton as it is a better quality cotton, and this does get reflected in the price of duvet sets. That is unless like me you were luckily enough to get one from Argos in their clearance sale.

      =Price and Availability=
I got mine from Argos, but from the clearance section, at the time from the website you could go through a couple of links and see the clearance in any store in your country, quite handy as I have 3 Argos stores within 14 miles radius.

      =The Duvet=
This was packaged simply in a cello wrapper, with a piece of cardboard, saying it was Egyptian Cotton, and King-size.

The duvet measures approximately 230cm x 220cm, it is a plain white duvet and has a button fastening at the bottom of the quilt.

There was 2 pillowcases in with the set, these measure approximately 75cm x 50cm, they are a slide in process, with a flap of about 15cm, and this can be tucked in to the pillow cases with no problems at all.

The material is 100% cotton, and is so comfortable to sleep under, you can really tell the quality of the quilt. I find that I feel warmer with this quilt and do notice that it does not stick to me like some cheaper polyester based quilt covers can.

I was really impressed with this as I paid just under £20 for the set, which is an absolute bargain for the Egyptian cotton, "posher" shops you could easily pay £100 per set.

This is machine wash at 40C, it does say do not tumble dry. You can iron the set.

      =Would I recommend=
I would highly recommend this quilt cover, the Egyptian cotton really is worth the money, especially in a sale.

      Amazing product! Amazing price!

Last year when it was really cold in the winter. Me and my boyfriend re-decorated my bedroom.Because my bedroom was so small we had a single bed but a double size duvet to keep us more warm. When we re-decorated it we decided to get a double bed. It would literally only just fit in the bedroom. Being used to sharing a single bed with a double duvet, when we had to share a double duvet in a double bed it felt not big enough. So randomly one late evening we decided to get a Super King size duvet. We would never struggle to share that. Finding a super king size duvet cover was hard, they dont sell that size in your normal shops like Asda and places like that. We did find one in TK Maxx for about £30, we had that one for ages. It was plain white. It seemed even colourless when we moved out and had a colourful big bedroom. So we decided to buy a lovely new one, all the really nice sets were over £40 which seems a lot.

One day I was looking on Ebay.co.uk for one and they were still very expensive. I went on Argos Outlet on Ebay and came across three different super king size duvet sets. All under the price of £20. One really stood ouut to me, it was the cheapest and it was 100% cotton. It was £11.99 brand new and £2 delivery. I couldnt believe how cheap it was. They had just under 100 in stock. I watched it for about a week and then decided to buy it. By this time they was about 45 left in stock. They were popular. The deliver was really quick, it came about 2 days after buying. I couldnt wait to see it.

When I opened the packaging I noticed it looked like the packet had been open already. I got it open and the first thing I noticed was how good it felt. It reminded me of when I stopped in a posh hotel. I was really pleased. I liked the colour of the trim, I was worried because when I read some reviews, someone said the blue wasnt blue. The blue is like a grey-ish blue. When I unwrapped the pillow cases I couldnt believe how large they were, about two times the size of a normal pillow. As I said earlier, we only have a double bed, also the last duvet cover didnt come with pillow cases so I didnt know what to expect. It took me ages to put the covers on, it always does, because its so huge. I put two pillows in the pillow cases which made it much comfy. The design is a blue grey-ish square on a white background. The square is hollow. The pillow cases match.

Our first night in it was so nice. It just felt so good on my skin. I love egyptian cotton. My boyfriend usually sweats a lot at bed time even in the winter. But since the new covers have been on, he sweats a lot less, and he likes the feel of the cover. With our old duvet cover, the duck feathers would constantly be coming through it and they were literally all over the room. With this cover there is barely any.

I think this duvet set is well worth the £12 it was! A definitely good buy!!!

**Update - 20/07/2011** Washed this bedding in a normal wash then tumble dried it. It was fine in a normal wash and tumble dry. Still feels amazing.
