Be the Joesph and His technicolour dreamcoat with this range of pillowcases

      =Argos Lavender Haze Pillowcases=
These pillowcases are part of the Colourworks collection from Argos. There are about 14 different colours in the range, from black to white, orange to lilac, purple to fuchsia.

      =Price=
£3.99 for a pack of 2 pillowcases, but some colours are presently on offer at £1.49.

      =Bedding=
When you buy duvet sets they come with 1 pillowcase with a single duvet and 2 with double or king-size, but I like 2 pillows on each side of my bed, so usually end up with white pillowcases on the bottom.

      =Argos to the rescue=
As well as the duvet sets, which are brilliant, you can purchase additional items, so when I got my Duvet set, I brought an additional set of pillowcases, to match.

      =Measurements=
The pillowcases are identical to the ones on the duvet set, they measure apr. 73cm x 46cm and these have the flap over type closing, the overlay of the play is apr. 15cm, so you do have a nice even fit.

      =Material=
The pillowcases are 50% cotton and 50% polyester.

      =Washable=
They are machine washable at 40C and can also be tumbled dried, you can iron the pillowcases as well... (sorry I don't iron mine).

      =My Use=
I have 3 sets of duvets on the go, and changed the bed weekly, they wash really well, they have not lost any of their colour, I wash them with the rest of the bedding, so if anything did run then they would all lose any colour together.

      =Would I recommend=
I would highly recommend these pillow cases, I have brought some in white to go with spare sets.

A great buy at the moment, a good buy even at full price!

When it comes to bedding I believe in never having too much of it. I usually buy sets of bedding as I like things to match however with a double bed I only get stwo pillowcases with it and liking four pillows on my bed means I'm always on the look out for plain coloured ones as well to pop under which ever ones I have on top show!

I couldn't believe it when I was looking online at Argos.com for pillowcases and spotted these ones in a nice lilac colour which I knew would go with a bedset nicely that I already owned, costing....wait for it £1.49. Yep £1.49 for a set of two pillowcases! Just to be clear though these usually retail at £3.49 a pair its just that at the moment they are on offer so if you want them be quick is the best advice I can give to you!

So no size is stated on the packaging or on them or even on the website however they are standard, plain light lilac coloured pillowcases, with a flap over edge to one side of them and they are made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester and so have a soft cotton feel to them. I did expect for the price I paid for them, for them to be quite stiff and/or thin but they are not. Ok they are a bit stiff at first but over time of washing them they do become softer.

They are fully machine washable at 40c or less, suitable for tumble drying and can be ironed though I don't iron mine as I shove mine over really big fat thick pillows and don't feel the need to iron them anyway as the creases drop out.

I'm really pleased withe these and can't believe the price I paid for them. Comfy and easy to care for, i wash and dry mine often and had no problems with them at all so well done Argos!

Only available from Argos stores or from Argos.com
