Asda fitted sheet
I was needing a reasonably priced fitted sheet for a single bed, and because this colour was a temporary measure i didn't want to spend too much. I had looked at the sheets in ikea but although cheap they are not standard bed size.
i bought the one in a turquoise colour, ( which to me looks more teal than turquoise) but it is available in a wide range of colours, which can be seen instore or .on the asda website, wwww.asda.com, so there should be something for practically any colour scheme. There is also coordinating bedding available.
The sheets is made from a polyester/cotton easy care mix, and can be washed at 40 degrees; I usually wash it at 30 degrees and this does the job fine. It can cope with a fast spin and can also be tumble dried or hung to dry naturally. Either way it doesn't need ironing, and if folded neatly will look fresh and crisp when put on the bed.
The sheet is exactly the right size for a standard single bed, and is easy to put on the mattress. I have found that fitted sheets can sometimes be too loose or otherwise they are so tight fitting that they take forever to put on especially if you have a thick mattress. This isn't too much of a chore to get on the bed which is a bonus.
The sheets are available from asda in a range of sizes and whilst the RRP is £5 the single sheets are on offer at £4.50 so a bit of a bargain.
VERDICT...
A great quality sheet which is easy care and easy to put on the bed. Having originally bought it as a temporary measure I will certainly be buying more of the sheets when I move in a couple of weeks. It has been washed many times now and still shows no signs of colour fading or bobbling and is one of those sheets which is comfortable when you first lie on it; some feel too cold and Somme definitely too much like a dressing gown!
Well worth the money
