A great value blanket, that does the perfect job

      =Home living Ribbed Fleece Blanket=
I love shops like B and M, and Home Bargains, as I always think you never know what you are going to find. I'd been on the lookout for a couple of well priced blankets, as we were going on holiday. I wanted one blanket for the car and 1 for the accommodation, should explain here that these were for the dog, as he doesn't like to sleep in baskets, and at home sleeps on the settee.

      =My B+M Blankets=
The blankets were a bargain at £2.99 each, they were available in a selection of colours including, lilac, pink, green, brown and cream. What I liked was that the blankets were not in a cellophane wrapper so you feel what they felt like. They were folded and tied with ribbon, with tags explaining about the product.

      =Price=
The blankets were priced at £2.99 each.

      =Design=
The blankets are a fleece blanket, plain in colour, and have a slight ridged effect, which just takes the plain effect away from the blanket.

The size of each blanket is 125cm x 150cm, the hems are stitched perfectly, and the quality of the blankets looked good for the price. With having a black and white dog, I decided to get lilac blanket (for the car) and a brown one, which was a chocolate brown for the sleeping time.

      =Washing=
The blankets can be machine washed at 40C, the one that was for the car, is now on the settee at home at gets rotated with the dogs other blankets, and each time it washes perfectly, no bubbling or thin patches have appeared.

The brown blanket, that has been brilliant, and has been washed and put into his bag, (he has his own bag for holidays), and has been used about 4 holidays now and this wears well. When he was malting we just gave the blanket a quick shake, but it has been perfect for dirty paws.

      =Would I recommend=
I would highly recommend these blankets, I went back to get some more for the house, but they had sold out. I really liked the size of them, as there a blanket that you can just chuck over you when you are watching TV, or if your feet or cold at night, you can tuck in over the foot end of the bed, or for kids rooms, as a day cover on the bed while there playing.

There is literally a 1001 uses for this fleece blanket.

A useful blanket at a good price

With 2 cats in the house, one of which has long fur and has grown her winter coat so she now looks like a fluffy puff ball on legs, throws on the furniture and bed are an essential. We recently had a B&M Bargains store opened up not far from us and whilst browsing around one day I noticed they had fleece blankets which were the perfect colour match for my bedroom, I always carry small pieces of wallpaper and colour charts around with me in my bag so I knew they would perfect for the bottom of our bed where my 2 girls sleep every night.

The ribbed fleece blankets didn't come with any real packaging they were just folded up and tied with contrasting ribbon, they cost just £2.99 each and are available in several colour choices including pink, lilac, green, cream and brown.

The blankets measure approximately 125cm's x 150cm's, they don't have any fancy edging, tassels etc they are just hemmed and stitched, the material is described as fleece and for the money really does feel soft and warm. They have a slight ridged pattern to them just taking the plainness off.

I actually bought 2 of these, as they were going to be used essentially as throws for the cats to lay on I knew they would be in the wash a lot, I just pop them in the machine on a regular 40oC wash and they come up like new. They've been washed many times already and so far haven't bobbled at all, the only damage to one of them is from vigorous padding by one of my girls.

Ive been really pleased with these blankets, although plain they look nice laid across the bottom of the bed and are much easier to wash and dry when my girls put muddy paw prints on them, it saves having to change the duvet cover every day.

If you use fleece blankets or throws for whatever reason or just like a nice warm blanket to tuck your feet under then these are ideal. They are plain and basic but in my opinion are well worth the money. They come in a lot of different colours and are a good way of giving a room a quick burst of colour for a small price. I have found them to be hard wearing and would certainly not hesitate to recomend them to anyone.
