      Lovely!

Anyone who regulary reads my reviews will now be all to aware that I am rather houseproud! I love buying my home nice things and am always updating things, especially in my bedroom! I buy bedding often, particulary when its on offer from my home shopping catalogues as I love a bargain and get the chance to have a good feel and look at it before deciding to part with my money or not. I have a very neutral coloured bedroom, pale cream walls, beige carpet and dark furniture so when it comes to bedding I usually like a bit of colour to pep things up a bit. Up until recently I wasn't a huge fan of floral prints but have had a change of heart recently and think they make my single girls bedroom appear rather girly! This I found in Kays and this 'Aimee' duvet cover set in sizes single (with one pillow case on sale for £16.00) the double duvet set costs £24.00 and of course comes with two pillowcases and the kingsize is £30.00 with the duvet cover and two pillowcases. Not only that it comes in white and duck egg blue and in the white and pink colour options......but wait whatever option you go for you buy one get one free and although you only get two of the same colour option one is a smaller print than the other! I opted for the white and pink option which is as the white and duck egg blue is machine washable and safe to tumble dry and iron. What you get is mainly a pure white material then all over it either a large or small pink pattern of flowers on it with green leaves (or duck egg blue). The colours are terrific and in the material so the material is all soft and smooth to the feel. There are white plastic poppers to secure the duvet cover over the quilt to one end of it and the pillowcases exactly match the duvet cover in design and fit standard (my pillows I have on at the moment are really thick and they fit them with total ease too) pillows and fit really well, again like the duvet cover they are smooth and soft and thick enough and have a large flap to one side to hold the pillowcase in place over the pillow. This looks lovely on the bed, keeps a slightly starched feel to itself because it doesn't just lose its life and go saggy after washing time and time again but holds well and keeps a certain crispness. I love the plain lines and lack of frills and flounces this has missing that allow just the floral pattern on this to shine through beautifully. Lovely set, easy to care for and you get two of them for one price....what more could you possibly want?! Only available from Kays (Kays.com).
