A great even at full price!

With Chrismas looming and visitors anticipated to my home I have given my flat a bit of a face lift. Just the odd new thing here and there has really cheered my place up and with me probably needing to give my bed up at some point I decided I really needed to spruce it up a bit!

I opted for this duvet cover set in the raspberry and white but it is also available in charcoal and white and in single, double and kingsize options all reduced. The single of course comes with one pillow case and a single sized duvet cover and usually costs £10.00 but at the moment is £5.00, the double one comes of course with 2 pillowcases and normally costs £15.00 but again that is reduced to the price of £7.50 and the kingsize again with 2 pillowcases usually costs £19.00 but is currently on offer for £9.00 (only from Kays). I have looked on www.kays.com and all colour and size options are available too (at the time I checked anyway!).

What you get no matter the colour option you choose is a mainly white duvet cover and to one end of it it does up over your duvet with press to do up white press studs that stay in place firm once you've done them up.

The pattern is great, ideal in my view for young peoples bedrooms and those of us who don't want anything too fussy.

To one side of the cover there are squares, in rows depicted so on my set I have burgundy, pink, black and gold boxes and as I say some filled in with colour some not, thinner band of boxes to the top and then to the bottom lots of boxes and one side of the cover is one plain colour (raspberry or charcoal depending on your colour option) which is rich. Made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester this is fully machine washable, suitable for tumble drying and irons with ease and the whole lot is great quality, doesn't fray, go saggy or fade over time and keeps a somewhat starchy feel so its a bit crisp on the bed once washed instead of flopping everywhere and looking a state!

In contrast the pillow cases are raspberry and plain on my set (to match one side of my duvet cover), on the charcoal set you get just plain charcoal pillowcases of course. They are of standard size, rather thick and with a long flap to protect and keep in place on your pillow once on.

All in all I think these are brilliant and so impressed by these I am that even at the full price I would have ordered the charcoal set too, and I'm currently awaiting its arrival....still at halfprice!

Its a nice, easy to care for set this one, brightens up a room and is rather modern and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this set to people at all!

Only available from Kays catalougue or online at www.kays.com
