... Sisters wold be good accompanying oysters and beef dishes due to its strong flavour.
At 4.2% it is lighter on the alcohol content than some of the darker ales that I have drunk in the past. It is not quite so heavy or treacly thus it is beer I could quite happily have a couple of pints of without feeling the worst for wear.
Unfortunately at the moment the bottled version of Three sister is exclusive to Morrisons in Scotland. I bought mine for £1.59 but they do have an offer of four ales for £5.

When it comes to alcoholic beverages the Highlands of Scotland are synonymous with whiskey production. It is not famous for its beer making. Scotland's brewing capitals were Edinburgh and Alloa However there is a new kid on the block that might change all that. Atlas set up in 2002, is a small brewery based in Kinlochleven, a small village high up on the West Highland Way.
