Riggwelter is another beer from one of my favorite breweries, Black Sheep Brewery!

The word Riggwelter means a sheep that is unable to stand, and after a few of these it will totally have you riggweltered!

It is fairly strong, and the flavor is lovely and intense, nice malt with several different hop flavors throughout! I am planning on making an All Grain clone of this beer, at the weekend, because it really is one of my favorites!

The price is usually quite a bit more than you're bog standard supermarket beers, but as really nice ales go, it is not to badly priced. I really do recommend a chilled bottle of this, for a treat at the weekends. I also believe it goes well with food, but is not necessarily a good session beer. For that, I would recommend their standard Black Sheep Ale.

Overall, a very nice pint, but don't drink too many. It is rather strong, but incredibly tasty, and not at a bad price for Ale!
