Caledonian Brewery - that famous Scottish brewery, the bottled beer lovers prayer from across the border, home of the 80/- !! And apparently, an organic beer called, healthily enough, Golden Promise. Now, this beer exudes healthiness. First the name, the promise of rustic, rural fresh air and healthy living. What better to lift the soul than a good day's work harvesting the crops. Thus the sheaf of barley on the label on the bottle(though the new label is different than the one shown here - brown and golden in colour!).
