Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: Tasteless

What a drink, for all the wrong reasons. It's absolutely incredible that someone could make such a tasteless beer out of such nice things as hops and barley.

I remember a few years back when everyone was going through the binge drinking stage. We used to go to Tesco and buy a couple of crates of Carling at an outrageously low price. Sometimes the cans would come down to less that 40p a can. We'd then drink them far too quick, and only by the 5th beer would you forget how disgusting the drink was.

The beer itself is completely tasteless. Despite the fact that I generally have drunk it warm, even when I do have an extra cold one, I still can't seem to make sense of it. It's perfect for football hooligans who want to save that little bit extra at the game, but for the average person in the pub who wants to enjoy a beer, then its not my favourite.

I must admit however that the adverts are top class. The motto of "you know who your mates are" is brilliant, and its just such a shame that they couldn't produce a nice enough beer to tempt me to through the adverts.

Summary: On a budget? Go for this one then...
