Now for a while i'd been aware of the habit of putting a wedge of lime in a bottle of Corona and that is how my first drink of Desperado was pitched to me. It's just like a Corona only the lime's already in it and it's got a kick of tequila. After hearing all that i knew i had to give it a try.

We managed to find a bar that stocked this drink eventually and ordered a round. Sipping that was a revelation. I enjoy a beer when i'm out and have learned to appreciate the different tastes. Or maybe that should be years of drinking has made my tongue less sensitive because if we're all honest nobody really enjoys the taste of their first beer. Being just the right blend of beer, lime and tequila makes this a drink that goes down so easily you'll find yourself wondering who left all those empty bottles on the table and why the room is spinning.

Unfortunately that bar closed down but we have recently found another one in the area that sells these beers so make it a regular thing to have a day of drinking just in that bar.
