I first came acroos Desperados when my friends were drinking it in a bar on a night out. I hadn't heard of the drink before and was instantly attracted to the bottle. The glass bottle is transparent which is really good when you want to know how much drink you've got left. The bottle has a Mexican theme to it even though the drink originates from France. This theme looks great and makes the drink stand out. The transparent bottle shows the browny orange colour of the drink.

When I found out the drink had a tequilla flavour, I was put off. I've had a few tequilla shots before and never been keen so I didn't know whether I'd like Desperados. I tried it anyway and instantly loved the drink. The hint of tequilla aded extra flavour and wasn't too strong. The drink has a very sweet flavour to it and the beer tastes nice and light. It doesn't leave you with a horrible taste in your mouth like lots of lager's do. I bought a bottle straight away.

A negative of Desperados is that it can be quite hard to get hold of it. Not all pubs and clubs sell it and the only supermarket I know that sell it, is Morrisons. A bottle in a pub or club varies from about £3-4. This isn't too bad as the drink is 5.9% which is a lot higher than most other lagers.

Desperados is a fantastic drink. It definitely tastes best when chilled and with a slice of lime which is often offered in pubs and clubs when you buy it. It's a great drink whether you're out on the town or chilling in the garden :)
