I first discovered the uniquely refreshing taste of Desperados one summer in a Dingy Mexican bar while fleeing from the police. Actually not everything from that story is entirely true. I was neither on the run, nor in Mexico, nor in a dingy lit bar. The drink did have a uniquely refreshing taste though! Surprisingly enough ... Read the complete review

I'd heard about this beer from a few of my friends who tend to buy them on nights out and I've always heard good things about it. I've always been a bit put off by the price of these compared to other bottled beers (which I don't usually drink) or other mixed drinks in bars and clubs. I was rather surprised when I popped into a corner ... Read the complete review

I first came acroos Desperados when my friends were drinking it in a bar on a night out. I hadn't heard of the drink before and was instantly attracted to the bottle. The glass bottle is transparent which is really good when you want to know how much drink you've got left. The bottle has a Mexican theme to it even though the drink ... Read the complete review

Being a girl, I'm not expected to like beers very much but this is one of the few that I really enjoy and go out of my way to buy in a pub/bar. I got introduced to this at uni at a mexican/latino place where its sold in abundance and I fell in love with it. The beer is among the Spanishy/Latino beers such as Sol and Corona and ... I first came across Desperados in France and, not being a fan of tequila, it took me some convincing to try. That said, Desperados is my favourite beer-based drink. Brewed with Tequila and served with a slice of Lime, ice cold, its incredibly refreshing and at over 5% alcoholic content, its stronger than your average ... Read the complete review

First time I came across Desperado was while on holiday in Spain last summer. My brother got the round in and brought four of them to the table. I'd never seen it before however was immediately impressed with the 5.9% alcohol volume. (The prices of drinks in that hotel bar were scandalous so the quicker I got drunk the better!). ... Absolutely amazing! A friend of mine introduced me to this while I was at uni. Although it's not that widely available, I've been hooked (but not to the extent that I need to attend AA meetings!). This beer is truly amazing. It's so refreshing on a hot summers day, served ice cold. First of all, you get this brilliant ... Read the complete review

This is my all time favorite beer! It has a light, sweet fruity taste which makes you feel all summery. Its best with a chunk of lime in the top served VERY cold. I first tried this beer in france and am so pleased it's come to the UK too. It also comes in 5l Keg form in france which is great for parties. Being a beer fan, I am always on ... Now for a while i'd been aware of the habit of putting a wedge of lime in a bottle of Corona and that is how my first drink of Desperado was pitched to me. It's just like a Corona only the lime's already in it and it's got a kick of tequila. After hearing all that i knew i had to give it a try. We managed to find a bar that ... Read the complete review

I first encountered and fell in love with Desperados when it was one of the only bottles beers available at my boyfriends student bar. It is a blonde beer with a tequila flavour and I know this might not sound good but trust me, I'm not even usually one for beer but this is really nice. It is often served with a lime wedge ... This is my all time favorite beer/lager. I am a big fan of bottled lagers such as Corona, Sol etc. I found this while on Holiday on France, and really enjoyed it. It is a lager but it also has a dash of tequila in it. It is brewed in France so it was a bit cheaper over there than it is here. It is a bit ... Read the complete review
