An average lager
Member Name: scooke
Advantages: Great tasting
Disadvantages: A little thin
Fosters is an Australian lager which has an percentage of 4%. Thats pretty reasonable for a lager. Many people give it a bit of a bad press, saying that it taste weak and that it is a very thin lager. But I disagree and I am here to tell you what I like about this lager.
So, to start with, it is not too strong. On tab in a pub it is a 4% lager. This for me, makes it the ideal drink to have at lunchtime when you are at work. It won't have much of an effect on you, so you will be able to go back to work fine (as long as you don't have too many).
I personally love to have a Fosters with a lime top. Not a normal top of lemonade, but a lime top. It gives the lager a sweet taste and makes it a lot more pleasurable in my opinion. This drink is perfectly suited to a nice hot day, in a beer garden somewhere.
It is also the perfect drink to start your night out on. It won't get you too drunk, too quickly. You will also find that Fosters tends to be one of the cheaper lagers on tab in a pub.
Fosters is readily available at most pubs. It is also available from most super markets and off liciences. Indeed I like to keep a few Fosters at home, to enjoy after a hard day at work. Make sure you keep s your Foster chilled in a fridge, as they do not taste great warm.
All in all I love a Foster and lime, which is why I give it four out of five Dooyoo stars.
