Advantages: great price and often on offer, refreshing, astes great, not sickly or sugary
Disadvantages: none!!
I first tried this a few months ago and it is now my alcoholic choice of drink for pub outings when I am not pre drinking to go out after (that's vodka and shots time). Kopparberg have 3 main variations of their fruit cider, pear, lime and strawberry and this mixed fruits one. My favourite is the lime and strawberry but I do also enjoy this mixed fruit one too.
The bottle is a dark greeny brown colour and is thicker than your average beer bottle. The label on the front is black and gold with Kopparberg written in gold and a picture indicating which fruits are inside, in this case it is mix of berries and strawberries. The bottle caps are also coloured differently, I think this one is red.
Like the majority of alcohol this drink is best served cold but surprisingly this isn't unbearable and horrible when warm either. I often ask for ice at the pub or add my own if drinking at home for a more refreshing effect. The drink is bight purple pink colour and slightly fizzy but not so much that you have to wait for the bubbles to go down before adding more drink (or if you're manly drink straight from the bottle huurrr).
The taste is amazing, very refreshing and tasty. It is fruity and sweet but not overpowering. The reason I probably like this so much is because you can't really taste the alcohol in it much as it's so sweet. It is not like an alcopop though as it does not get sickly and isn't overly sugary. It tastes like a fizzy Ribena with a hint of alcohol taste to it.
In shops they range from about £2.20 -£3.00 depending on where you buy them and they are often on a 3 for £6 offer. In pubs they often usually cost £2.30-£2.50. I think these prices are very fair and good value for the taste and the actual amount of drink you are paying for. I really recommend them as they are great value for money and taste amazing, best served cold on a really hot day.
Summary: my favourite enjoyable alcohol beverage!
