I think that most of the time people either like cider or they don't. Strongbow is a lovely cider, it is very refreshing and easy to drink. It has 5.3% alcohol in it so it is about average in strength.

Many people associate strongbow as drink been drunk by "chavs"/"neds" at the bus stop to get drunk, and I suppose is partly true. Because the 2L bottle is only about £3.50 and it is very easy to drink, it a popular choice with the younger teenagers to get drunk off. This cider is far better than the likes of white star, frosty jacks and white lightening though.

However strongbow is not just a drink to be enjoyed by young teenagers. When served over ice it tastes so delicious and refreshing. You can NOT drink strongbow warm, it makes it taste awful! It is a very crisp, sweet taste, this makes it easy to drink as the taste of alcohol is not strong.

What I often do is mix a glass of strongbow with a bit of ribena - it tastes delicious! You can not taste the alcohol at all! Some people may find this too sweet though.

I think that strongbow is a good drink to take to festivals, for drinking out in the sun. You can often get 2 crates for £15 which is excellent value.

A bad thing about strongbow which I never noticed until recently was how many calories it has! I know ciders and beers are generally known to be high in calories about a 2L bottle of cider has about 1200 calories in it! Don't drink this too often or else you will get a beer belly!
