Strongbow has been a popular cider for years but I think it has become a little overshadowed by the newer brands of cider recently.

It is a great tasting cider though and has always been one of my favourites. You can usually buy it in cans and large bottles in the supermarket and also by the pint in pubs. I think Strongbow is quite appealing for both men and women as it the packaging of it is black and yellow so is quite masculine. Also it seems like quite a grown up cider and so doesn't seem like a childish drink. It is quite often on offer in the supermarket so is very good value for money but is more expensive in a pub and costs about the same as a pint of lager.

Strongbow has a slightly sweet taste but it is more of a dry cider so it does have a bitterness about it with lots of apple flavour which makes it taste lovely and sharp. It is not at all sweet and sickly and even after drinking a few glasses it doesn't leave me feeling sickly. It is not too fizzy either so doesn't make me feel bloated. It is very refreshing to drink and really quenches my thirst and is very easy to drink either on its own or with a meal.

I would definately recommend Strongbow as it is a good quality cider at a good price.
