Lets start off with the fact that this is a cheap cider when compared to the other offerings available, though this does not do anything to dampen the flavour. Brands often make use of slogans that hold little or no bearing to the actual product itself, this is not one of those products; it always hits the spot with the first drop and just gets better after every sip.

If it was to be given a comparison to a non alcoholic drink I would say diet coke would be fair, it has the metallic edge to it that stops it from being as good as the "real thing". After moving on to try a few other ciders that cost a bit more, the difference that price can make really starts to show; Strongbow used to be my favourite cider but I have now moved on to better things. It is a decent drink to start on though and for those new to ciders I reccomend this, even if you regularly drink other things this will make a refreshing difference.

During the hot summers day it will make a decent alternative to a cold bear with the subtle fruity elements, sitting well with the many flavours to be found in BBQ.
