Not a strong contender in the cider stakes!

Advantages: Cheap and not awful
Disadvantages: Not tasting of apples enough and is a bit too sour
Living in the West Country I think I overdosed big time when I first arrived here on real and raw cider. I loved it at first however the stuff now knocks me about too much and so often if I drink cider which is rare I just get branded stuff most of us have heard of.
At the moment I am sat with a glass of Strongbow in front of me and I buy this rather often as a 2 Litre bottle costs me only about £3.79 so it nice as a chilled drink for me come weekends when I can't afford much else.
This comes in various sized cans and bottles and of course from tap in pubs and the likes. My 2L bottle is frosted yellow and plastic and the labeling is black and yellow and on the front and back of it of we are told what it is and who it is by and on the sides of the bottle the size is stated, we are told that it contains 5.3 Volume and that there are 10.6 UK units per bottle and contact details for the manufacturer are given.
The Drink Itself:
Pour it and this drink is a soft yellow transparent liquid with a gentle sparkle to it rather than it being too fizzy or gassy or owt. The flavour of this is rather acidic and not richly appley which would be better and it tastes of alcohol to me rather than being easily drinkable. For me this is a bit tart/sour however it is refreshing enough particularly on hot nights.
This is not my favorite cider by any means and it is the cheapest I will buy. Best served chilled it isn't awful but it isn't the nicest sadly.
Available in all good supermarkets etc.
