Tecate pours a clear, very pale yellow colour with a half-inch or so of foamy head which soon shrinks to a thin wisp but still manages to leave a reasonable amount of lace on the glass.
The aroma is mostly grassy hops with a little sweet malt. It's quite nicely balanced on the nose (don't try that at home kids) with a subtle, but reasonably pleasant bouquet.

From my recent scribblings, you'll be aware that earlier this year I visited the desert region of Andalucia, in Spain. What? You didn't know there was a desert there? Of course there is. It's called The Great Quality Beer Desert and I was marooned smack dab in the middle of it for two weeks. Let me tell you this. It wasn't easy trying to get a hold of any decent beer, although I did manage to snag a few good German beers now-and-again. There were plenty of Mexican beers to try though...so I did.
