... after all, that's what is in gin but juniper and beer doesn't really do it to me. I'm not really a big fan of fruity beers and this tastes somewhere between fruit, beer and gin - a result that I'm not too keen on. It's said to be exceptionally good with meals, in a sauna or on a hot day but what they feel to mention is that the resulting flavour of the beer is quite an acquired taste and if you don't like it - it doesn't really matter on the circumstances. As I mentioned in my previous reviews of the Wiru range, the Estonian brewery have attempted to stick to traditional recipes even if this means that the demand for the quality ingredients comes from outside of the country. Traditionally juniper berries were added to beer in coastal Estonia and Kadakaoulu is witness to that. I don't mind a bit of juniper - after all, that's what is in gin but juniper and beer doesn't really do it to me.
