The inside of the helmet has some thin padding and also a fine mesh that covers all the holes over. This is there to stop fly's or any foreign debris getting into the helmet through the holes, but still let cool air through. I bought this helmet after a bad crash a few years ago as my old one was damaged and had to be thrown away. I opted for this helmet as I tried on many in my local bike shop, but this one was the one that fitted my head the best but also looks great. It cost me around £80 new, which may seem a lot to some but for the quality and the looks I was willing to pay it. This helmet does come in other colours, but the one I have is like the picture listed. It is white all over with stripes of green, yellow, black, red and blue, which I have been told are the World Champions colours!
