Advantages: Cheap and effective for my needs
Disadvantages: Quite thin, no tie and no idea of the size of them
Its fair to say in my home I get through an awful lot of rubbish. I don't know what it is about me, I live on my own as well....well apart from my four hammies and my beloved kitten Myrtle but I always seem to get over run and overtaken with rubbish!
For this reason I get through a lot of bin bags and I got fed up of my bin in my living room getting manky through having no lining in it and running out of carrier bags and the likes so when I was last in my local Tesco store I decided to buy some bags for that reason and considering I have a swing bin in my living room and one I thought I could use them in in my kitchen as well I opted to buy a roll of 50 of these and they only cost me 81p which I thought was a bit of a bargain!
The packaging is simple. Like I say these comes in a large roll which are held together by a mainly white label and on that we are told what they are and who they are by and the amount on the roll is stated then on the back of the roll other information given really only consists of manufacturer details.
They are one big roll and you gently tear them off as you go as they are all joined by perforations and removing them from the roll is a simple enough task.
The bags are thin, white in colour and of course plastic, they open up easily and you pop them in the bin....it really isn't rocket science!
They are not all that big though, they certainly don't fit into my large kitchen bin however they are fine for my smaller bin though no measurements for these bags appear to be given on the website (wwwwtesco.com) or on the packaging either.
These are simply not too bad at all put into the right size of bin I have found and stay put rather well though on my smaller bin and I pull one of these really down the sides of it to insure it stays in place. Being made made of thin plastic I can't overfill them and its best not to put sharp objects into them but in my living room bin as an example I tend to chuck bits of paper, tissues and the odd junk food wrapper in them and they serve me fine to be fair...I guess it depends on what you need them for, but for me they do the trick, I don't overload them or put heavy items in them and one lasts me in my bin for a couple of days so value they are!
Only available from Tesco stores.
