We changed our decor in our kitchen recently and wanted a black bin to match the rest of the room. We found one of these bins from Tesco. The bin costs £11.97 which is quite a good price for a plastic bin.


We bought a black version of this bin, the main body is black and the bit where you put the rubbish through is silvery grey colour. The bin holds quite a bit of rubbish, it holds 45L which is more than you would have though would fit in this bin as it doesn't look so big. I seems to fit better in the gap we had our other bin in but it holds more rubbish. I think this is because of its rounded shape instead of being more square than the other bins of this kind.


We are using normal black rubbish sacks in the bin as being black anyway they don't look bad with the bit hanging out side. This makes it cheaper for us in the long run as we have to put black bags out for the rubbish men to take so we were using white bags in our old bin then rewrapping them in black ones before we put the rubbish out.


A good thing about this bin is the lid, it is easy for us to move it to put rubbish in but my dog is finding it harder to do, with out last bin he was always going down it pinching things out of the bin and sometimes knocking it all over the floor. The hole is smaller on this bin so he can't fit all his head in (he is a big dog lol), plus the way the lid goes makes it harder for him. The bin feels sturdier on the ground too being round so I don't think he would knock it over so easily anyway.


The lid fits on really nicely, once on it feels like it is secure on there and it holds the bag in place nicely too. When you have emptied the bin it is easy to wipe it out with a paper towel and a squirt of kitchen cleaner liquid. The lid bit is also easy to keep it clean.


I would recommend these bins if you are looking for a good quality plastic bin at a good price.
