Perfect for game watching on safari

I purchased these binoculars to take to Kenya on Safari this summer. I am so glad I did! They were absolutely perfect and allowed me to see very clearly the wildlife far in the distance. After doing my internet homework, these binoculars seemed to score highly on all comparator websites. I shopped around and found that by buying the Olympic version I could save around £80 off the retail price. Perhaps this is due to the model now being slightly' out of date'. They have turned out to be a real bargain. When I received the binoculars I tested them at my local bird sanctuary against their more expensive competitors that were available to try. They were better than the majority of binoculars priced 2, 3 even 4 times as much. Back to the safari... The Kenyan tour guide was crazy about these binoculars. As far as they are concerned they are more important than a high powered SLR camera and are the true essence of game watching. If I could afford to do so I would have given them to him as he raved about their quality. The only down side was that other game watchers wanted to borrow them at every opportunity. These are my first set of binoculars and I don't think I will be replacing them for a very, very long time. David

I have used this product for a few months and love it

I purchased this product a few months ago and have found them to be fantastic They are not only very hardwearing but also the design is very comfortable to use for an extended period of time The image is very clear and is made from scratch proof material that makes it great to use of you have children The binoculars have been dropped a number of times with no damage and also out in all weathers I love this product and would recommend it to anyone looking to replace there old pair. This product is really worth the money and would last a number of years if looked after properly they are not very heavy which makes them easy to carry around and come in a bag case I would recommend buying a carry case for this product as it doesn't come with an adequate one The product has a year back to base guarantee and a customer service number that is based in the uk In conclusion this product is worth the money and should last you for a very long time I have used them for a few months now and i am very happy This is definitely worth a look at

These binoculars are a real must have if you enjoy hunting/bird watching or simply enjoying nature

The Nikon Sporter EX 10x50 is without a doubt the best binoculars I have ever used. I myself use them for bird watching, however they are also suitable for hunting, marine and other nature scenarios. These are simply amazing... they are very easy to use and are easy to hold. I often go bird watching for extended periods and these are just perfect - weighing in at less than 1kg after a while you really get used to holding them. The fact that they're fog proof and water proof also means I needn't rely on the weather to enjoy my hobby. The price tag (£160+) is, you might think quite high. But actually, for binoculars of this spec that isn't bad. The quality at full zoom is magnificent and I can't imagine bird watching without them again. They were bought for me as a present (bunch of friends chipped in) and I'm truly glad I have them. It came with a carrying case which is very useful. One of my friends borrowed the binoculars a while back for underwater purposes and he said they held up very well and the zoom was incredible, though lost some quality underwater. Personally, I love these binoculars and I think if you ignored the price tag and bought them you'd definitely see what I mean. You simply can't turn back once you've used these and they've become an essential part of my hobby. If, like me you are passionate about bird watching or nature viewing... you owe it to yourself to try these.
