Advantages: The anytime,anyplace,anywhere binoculars that you can carry easily.

Disadvantages: Obviously,they do have their limitations.

Let me say, at the outset,that this review is on a compact zoom pair of binoculars.I have read so much nonconstructive rubbish,trashing all compact zoom binoculars in comparison to those with fixed magnification.Of course you will never see the captain of a ship walk out onto the bridge deck with a pair of compact zoom binoculars. He will probably have some huge pair of mega expensive binoculars, that allow him to see a dolphins fillings from ten miles away. However this is the real world in which people just want a nice pair of compact zoom binoculars, that they can put in a coat pocket or in a bag and take anywhere without hassle.If the optics (brightness and sharpness) of the image are decent as well, then that would make most people who want a pair of binoculars in this category more than happy.These binoculars will make most people more than happy, I was more than impressed and happy when I purchased a pair.As far as durability is concerned only time will tell, but as I don't expect to be taking them on too many S.A.S. operations and as my name is not James Bond, then I expect they will last me a more than exceptable amount of time.
